Hi, I’m Craig Berberich, CPA — originally from Illinois and now proudly based in Colorado. With both parents in accounting, you could say I was destined for this path. I hold a double major in Accounting and Economics and have been a licensed CPA since 2017.

Over the years, I’ve worked across public accounting, M&A consulting, public company revenue accounting, tech startups, and manufacturing businesses. But what truly fuels me is helping small businesses grow! In 2021, I began moonlighting as a fractional accountant and quickly saw a common pattern: many business owners lacked a strong accounting partner. They didn’t need a full-time controller, but they did need strategic financial guidance — cash flow management, margin improvement, pricing strategy, and costing support.

I realized too often, small businesses rightfully view accounting as a compliance checkbox. My philosophy is different: accounting should be a value-driver, not just a scorekeeper.
Some accountants act like referees, recording transactions and enforcing rules. I prefer to act more like a coach — analyzing your financials and helping you make decisions that push the business forward.

That’s why I started CRB Advisor! I want to help good businesses become great. If you're going to invest in accounting, you should get insight, strategy, and a roadmap — not just reports. With over a decade of experience reading and interpreting financials, I help business owners see the full story behind the numbers.

While I have a passion for helping businesses grow - outside of work, you'll find me cooking, trail running and enjoying time with my wife, Alaine.
